Like the original PowerPod, the new PowerPod Lite Power Meter makes training with power easy and affordable. Using opposing force technology, the PowerPod attaches to your handlebars and measures your power by calculation the forces that oppose the rider. Specifically, the PowerPod uses an accelerometer, a wind pressure sensor, an elevation sensor and a speed sensor - all to measure power. The PowerPod Lite works just like the original.

Accuracy, consistency and compatibility remains the same. No Velocomp Isaac software available (you can of course still upload your data to Garmin Connect, Strava, TrainingPeaks or any other 3rd party software platform). No Velocomp PowerStroke software upgrade available. ANT+ only (the original has a Bluetooth SMART option). Since the PowerPod simply attaches to your handlebars, the power meter can be quickly and easily transferred from bike to bike.

Installation takes just a few minutes and doesn't require any special tools or knowledge. The PowerPod weighs just 32 grams. To put it in perspective, this is about the weight of 32, average size paperclips. The PowerPod plus the mount weighs 65 grams. Since the power meter attaches to the handlebars, compatibility is a non-factor.

You don't have to worry about changing out any of your favorite components. In addition, it will work on road bikes, cross bikes and mountain bikes. The PowerPod is compatible with any bike that has round, 31.8 mm handlebars.
